| Description | *Staff Ride* The Jones Plus shows us how versatile one bike can be. There's room for the chunkiest 29x3" tyres and plenty of chain clearance for 1x drivetrains. The LWB is excellent for touring, bikepacking and zooming around your local singletrack. My initial impression of the bike was that while it would make a fabulous, super-comfortable offroad touring bike it might not be ideal for our local singletrack. This was having ridden the bike only on forestry tracks (!) The proof is in the riding so I headed for some more testing terrain to see how this big beasty would handle in some twisty, gnarly pedally stuff. I was honestly blown away - it's obvious big wheels will provide heaps of momentum, but the LWB is agile with it - really easy to control on loose and lumpy descents where I'd normally feel out of my depth. How can such a big, long, comfy bike be so playful? Whether you want a bike to ride around town with more comfort and control than you would have thought possible, to shred your local singletrack, or to ride to the ends of the earth, this just might be the one! |
