| Description | The long-awaited 148x12mm thru-axle rear, 150x15mm thru-axle front, Jones 23" Spaceframe Plus is finally available for pre-order! This frameset brings the great handling, rollover capability, and comfort of the Jones Plus in a small frame with great standover clearance for smaller riders. It has the same 148x12mm thru-axle (boost) rear end, 150x15mm thru-axle hubs--which allow you to use generator hubs designed for fat bikes--and three water bottle bosses on the downtube to allow you to mount three-hole bottle cages such as the Salsa Anything Cage. This is also the first Jones frameset to come with our newly-designed thru-axles! Jeff wanted to pare-down the thru-axles he used to the minimun by simplifying them as much as possible to make a system that is as reliable, light, and durable as possible. The result is the Jones TA Bolt. It works just like a standard quick release thru-axle, but instead of just threading it in until it's tight enough to clamp the quick release, you just tighten this one until it's tight, using a 5mm allen wrench. Jeff says it reminds him of tightening the wheels on his bike as a kid, and he is really happy with how positive and solid the connection feels. Rider height between 5' and 5'8" would fit the 23" Jones Spaceframe Plus 148 well. Standover is approximately 26.5" |
